Michael is a retired Federal Corrections Officer and Counselor from the Federal Bureau Of Prisons, where he served for 22 years.
Jones also retired from the United States Navy with 22 years of service as a Law Enforcement Officer and Supply Specialist.
He is a 22-year Lifetime member of the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association and has served as the President of the Capital Chapter (Raleigh).
Captain Terry R. Jones retired from the Winston-Salem Police Department with 31 years of service. Jones is a Lifetime Member of the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association.
He has proudly served the Association over the years as State Secretary, Chapter President, and Chapter Treasurer.
Jones was honored with numerous accommodations during his career, including the Association's award for “Officer of the Year.” He also earned the Advanced Professional Law Enforcement Certificate awarded by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Commission.
Jones served in several leadership roles at the WSPD, including Patrol & Special Operations, Special Investigations & Investigative Support, Internal Affairs and Operations Support.
Tameca Locke is a Senior Police Officer with the Rocky Mount Police Department.
In July 1997, Ann began a career in law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. In December 2020, Ann retired as a Deputy Sergeant with 23 years of service.
Her membership with the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association began in July 1999 when she joined the local Capital Chapter in Raleigh, NC.
She has served the local board in the capacity of the President, Vice President and Secretary while serving as a faithful member.
Ann has served more than 20 consecutive years with the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association.
Andrenetta is employed by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Communications Center as a supervisor and trainer. Tigner joined the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association in 2019.
Brent Roberts is a dedicated and hardworking law enforcement professional with over 26 years of experience with the Gaston County Police Department. While at the Gaston County Police Department, Roberts has been blessed and honored to have more than 21 years of supervisory and training experience. He has served in numerous positions, from police officer to field training officer to drug interdiction officer to sergeant and now as a captain. He is currently the Captain of the Communications Division.
Roberts is a proud member of the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association. Yes, that is a mouthful, but it is well worth mentioning. North State has helped him throughout his career with sound advice, promotional preparation, networking, counseling, and, most importantly, life-long friendships and mentorship.
Shirley Snelling retired from the Raleigh Police Department in 1999 as a Senior Police Officer.
She is currently a Life Time Member of the Capital Chapter (Raleigh) and has served since 1983. She has also served as the Financial Secretary.
Ralph is retired from the Durham Police Department, where he served as the Captain over District Three.
He joined the North State Law Enforcement Officers Association in 1972 and has been a Lifetime member since 2000 in the Triangle Chapter (Raleigh).
